Healthy Beginnings The Healthy Beginnings program combines two models, Healthy Families America and Healthy Steps for Youth children, and expands home visiting services to vulnerable, high risk mothers and families and embeds child development specialists into well-child visits from the child's 0 - 3 years to support all parents (with or without previously identified risk factors).
Although this family's journey and the home visiting program providing guidance and support to them are in Michigan, their story similar to that of the families served by MA Home Visiting and other MA home visiting programs.
Healthy Families Springfield Home visits and group services for first time parents under 21.Our program is parent-driven; families choose their own goals and work in a close working relationship with a home visitor. Both young mothers and fathers are encouraged to participate in our program, either individually or together.
There's an awesome nonprofit providing MA social services agencies with diapers for those cute little bottoms that - unfortunately - sometimes aren't changed as often as they should be. Diapers aren't something that can be purchased with WIC debit cards or Food Stamps. Do you know an agency that would like to provide diapers to its clients?
