buunywibngs Elson-Gray Basic Readers Book Two Copyright 1936 Scott, Foresman and Company The Rabbit Who Wanted Wings by Carolyn S. Bailey The illustrator is a bit harder to pin down as there are several in the book, and many are not initialed, naturally. God forbid the publishers give credit. Anyhoo, two of the other illustrations have L.K. D on them so I will assume this is by L. Kate Deal.
