Clarice Cliff Teapot, I really like the geometric shapes on this tea pot as it relates to my design them and the shapes look like the sharpe straight shapes from a totem pole. I love how it's colourful so it's more eye catching and every detail stands out. What I love lost is the shape of the teapot itself is geometric shapes, the base is a cone/triangle shape and the stand that supports it. This brings out more geometric shapes not only in 2-dimensional shapes but also 3-dimensional.
Tear Jars by Catherine White. "I have heard of various traditions in the dry climates of Africa and Greece where water was prized above all else. Giving up the water of your own body was deeply prized. Crying tears for the dead was considered a sacrifice, People caught tears in tiny pitchers or "tear jars" and the contents became holy water" - Catherine White
