I treasure the old and worn and refashion them into little textile collages in my attic studio in a converted manse in Northumberland, England. Everything I make is individual and unique. This little wren is hand appliquéd and embroidered on to a support of an old patchwork quilt fragment. A second piece of very worn out quilt, mid Victorian, has been attached to the bottom half because of its interesting texture and print.
