This is a very special old necklace from Rajasthan. It was probably a forehead adornment converted into a necklace recently. The content of silver is very high. The 3 big pieces of the necklace were handmade using a traditional decorative technique called "goli" , small hollow silver balls which are not welded to the base, but attached with a wire, giving them some slight movement. There are also some old and small silver dangles hanging from the chain.
