EVENTIDE by Kent Haruf. If you read and liked PLAINSONG by this author, you must read this one. EVENTIDE returns to Holt, Colorado, continuing the story of the McPheron brothers, as well as others from this small town on the eastern high plains of Colorado. The book quickly engages the reader with its unpretentious style and many heart-tugging scenes of difficult lives. I do recommend this!
