But, in this case, I picked up a copy of The High-Skies Adventures of Blue Jay the Pirate solely because it looked neat. Do not judge this book by the cover. It is so much more than it looks. A great adventure read for older elementary and middle school readers. Lots of high school students will like this one as well. Original plot and beautifully written. Kind of an old fashioned story.
