I think what I like about plaid is that you can dress it up or down and it just works. These plates are great!

I made it for the Historical Masquerade at Costume-Con this year Bodice was based on TV405, overskirt based on TV305 and underskirt based on TV216 (all pretty heavily modified). I combined several fashion plates I liked, as well as adding the front skirt detail (piped revers slashes) from an 1876 dress in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
