Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) celebrations at Boundary Wharf, Rochester Kent on 1st & 2nd Nov 2013 Activities for all ages including making colourful Papel Picado paper cut banners, honouring lost loved ones with decorative candle-lit shrines, screen printing skeletons to make a jointed puppet, making jewellery and tin decorations, lighting up the evening with lanterns, painting spooky masks, and you can contribute to a zine that will become a souvenir of the event.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah A paper lunch bag was used upside down. A hole was cut out with flames added to the hole and above the bag. Pictures of the 3 friends were made and placed on straws so the kids can put them in and out of the furnace. Tissue paper can also be used to make the flames.
