Baxter Street - The Greenock Blitz was two nights of intensive bombing of the town of Greenock, Scotland during the Second World War when the Luftwaffe attacked in May 1941.  My mom was two years old and lived very near here.  A bomb came through their roof and made a crater in the foundation floor...but didn't detonate!  Wow!  Grandma Mary Westcott told me that story.
