So far, Gonçalves has photographed windows in Italy, Austria (pictured here), Spain, and his native Portugal. Unlike the more brightly colored ones in Venice, the windows in the Alps had a more muted color palette. To get some of the shots, he went into buildings across the street to shoot from eye level.

Why These Photos of Windows Around the World Have Gone Viral

So far, Gonçalves has photographed windows in Italy, Austria (pictured here), Spain, and his native Portugal.
