Founded  and built beginning in 1011 by Grand Princes of Kievan Rus' Vladimir The Great and his son Yaroslav I The Wise .  it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and celebrated its official 1000 year anniversary in 2011.  Yaroslav's burial site and other Kiev-Rus nobility.  My 30th and 31st Great Grandfathers.
