On July, 2013, Soraya traveled with 15 other missionaries from the United States to Iquitos, Peru, along the Amazon River. This was Soraya’s second missionary trip to the area. The missionaries bordered a vessel and traveled the Amazon River. They visited 7 pueblos (villages) and touched 202 families. They rendered medical and dental assistance to 635 people. They gave out 2 tons of food, clothing, toys (including handmade dolls), toothbrushes, reading glasses, machetes, and mosquito nets.
