Columns at the Patio of the Lions.The columns at the far end of the Patio of the Lions at the Al-Hambra palace in Granada, Spain. The patio is so named because the center features a fountain surrounded by twelve lions and there are 124 white marble columns within it. The inscriptions at the top of each column and around the borders in Arabic script are the same phrase repeated over and over, throughout the palace, 'There is no god but Allah'.
