These flashcards use ta and ti-ti with sol mi patterns. There are three both rhythms and melodic names are written melodically rhythms are written straight across and melodic names are written rhythms and melodic names are written straight across.
I used this with my first graders for exploring sol and mi patterns. As an individual assessment, each student came up to the board and created their pattern while other students were busy with something else (one heart for ta, two small hearts for ti-ti, and the Z for a rest).
