Château de Chambord is one of the most beautiful castles in the French valley Loire, also called the French garden. The castle is known for it’s unique french renaissance architecture.

While the Renaissance was already in full swing in Italy, the French were pushing the extremes with elaborate ornamentation as seen in the exquisite traceries of St. Maclou. Considered one of the best examples of the "Flamboyant style" of Gothic architecture in France.
