Venice, Italy The Bridge of Sighs. ahhhhhh I have been here and seen that bridge and it is so pretty. Long ago people that were being executed would walk across the bridge and sigh which is where it got it's name.

Venice - one of the prettiest places I've been to. Gondolas are expensive but absolutely worth it for the experience - and despite going in the hottest season (and being told it was smelly!) I didn't notice, nor get bothered by, any unfamiliar smells. Advice: choose a restaurant with a waterside seating area - watching the boats and gondolas go by over some lunch is the ultimate people watching experience.

Beautiful Venice, Italy where the roads are made of water. It's the only place I've been which felt like a painting at every angle.
