Tulum, Mexico. Tulum is the site of a Pre-Columbian Maya walled city serving as a major port for Cobá. The ruins are situated on 12-meter tall cliffs, along the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Coba is a globally known Mayan ruins city with several large temple pyramids, the highest being the Nohoch Mul pyramid which rises 42 meters (138) feet high. Yet, even though so well known in Maya archeology circles only a small portion of the site has been cleared from the jungle excavated and restored http://twitter.com/ChichenItzaBob
