Organize an EVERYONE MATTERS DAY at your school, organization or business as a Day of Respect and Pride in Identity - to affirm and celebrate everyone’s uniqueness, suspend judgments and bridge the divide. Here's the pdf link to the downloadable overview requested by many of you. It includes suggested programs, and has contact info. Of course, LET US KNOW if you plan to do something. Heroes, all! Phoenix PD officer Daryl Raetz was killed 3 days before his daughter Tatum was graduating from kindergarten – so all these Phoenix Police Officers attended in his place yesterday, to support her, during this incredibly difficult time. These LOVING officers are displaying in their actions that Everyone Matters. #EveryoneMatters #Police #officers #heros #kindergarten #phoenix
"The good outnumber you, and always will." That was the inspirational line at the end of Patton Oswalt's spontaneous post yesterday on Facebook, reacting to the horrific bombings at the Boston Marathon. So true, and worth remembering, in times of catastrophe, when outsiders (or not) try to rend the fabric of America. There is so much love in the world, and so much goodness, so many good people wanting to do good, do the right... #BostonMarathon #EveryoneMatters #Boston #PattonOswalt…

Reunited at 80: Childhood sweethearts separated by war finally tie the knot after 70 years
During World War II, Royal Air Force nurse Bernie Bluett was in love with Bob Humphries, a British soldier determined that the two would marry. Sadly, Bernie's parents disapproved and stopped forwarding Bob's letters. Both Bob and Bernie assumed the other had lost interest. All these years later, they were reconnected through the efforts of Bernie's daughter. Immediately the old fires re-ignighted and now the two, both close to 90, are planning their wedding!
