Kandinsky - he could see music. Different notes, riffs and instruments had their own color and shape. When I was in first grade our teacher gave us some paper and colored pencils and made us listen to jazz to see if we could see music like Kandinsky. I couldn't but now every time I see Kandinsky's art, I think of jazz - he was a big fan.
I like how they used a neutral canvas & added lots of color with decorative items. I always say it's easier to replace a lamp shade or buy colorful new canisters than it is to repaint and tile a room :p - via UK Telegraph
