Buffalo Chickpea Burgers For the Burgers: cup uncooked quinoa 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed cup rolled oats cup minced shallot 2 garlic cloves, minced cup buffalo sauce 1 large egg, lightly beaten teaspoon salt teaspoon pepper cup breadcrumbs
Quinoa, Black Bean & Veg Burger. Olive oil; 1 red onion & 2 cloves garlic, chopped; 1/2 tsp salt; 1x425g can black beans, drained, rinsed; 2 T tomato paste; 1 large egg; 1.5 C cooked quinoa; 2/3 C corn; 1/2 C cilantro; 1 T chilli sauce; dash smoked paprika; 2 tsp ground cumin; 1/2 C rolled oats; 1/4 C oat flour. Heat oil in pan, saute onion, garlic. Place in bowl, add beans & mash. Add other ingredients. Mix well. Form into 6 patties. Refrigerate overnite. Cook on bbq.
