Pablo Picasso - 1908 pablo picasso has made this still life appear to be very realistic by the use of texture and tone. by the use of tone, he was been able to make the fruit appear more realistic and curved looking. the shadow on the left helps to assist the viewer in knowing where the lighting is coming from. the whole painting is quite eye catching however it also has a slightly darker, more grim-looking side.
