This is a pack of worksheets with Math problems students can do on Google Maps. The problems cover a range of activities, but my class particularly liked the activity based on Disneyland where they had to zoom in on Street View as well as use the Earth function to mathematically calculate the number of car parks in a particular structure at Disneyland, and also calculate the commercial profitability of the car park.

This would be a great project to compile for the whole school...as a part of Eco clubs earth day...Lesson 4: My Carbon Footprint | In this free lesson, middle school students collect information about their daily lives to calculate their carbon footprint using an online carbon calculator. They compare their results to average carbon footprints around the world. Students also discover ways to decrease their carbon emissions.

In this activity, students will compose a journal entry that compares the three plate boundaries by creating a flip chart. This would be an amazing assessment tool following a lesson on plate boundaries and faults!
