Czocha Castle is a defensive castle in the Czocha village, in Lubań County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. Czocha Castle began as a stronghold, on the Czech-Lusatian border. Its construction was ordered by Wenceslaus I of Bohemia, in the middle of 13th century (1241–1247). After World War II, the castle was ransacked several times, both by soldiers of the Red Army, and Polish thieves. Now the castle is open to the public as a hotel and conference center. by PolandMFA
