Today, I asked my mother about where my cousins, siblings and I used to go for swimming in Philippines and she replied, “Palo Beach”. I looked it up on Pinterest and I didn’t know there was WWII at the same beach where we went for swimming all the times. My mother was born and raised in Philippines and Filipono Culture has exposed me so much I learned about my mom who she is. My two sisters are also from Philippines too.

I shall return: General Douglas MacArthur in 1942 as he left the Philippine Islands during World War II. MacArthur kept his promise and on October he returned on Red Beach, Palo, Leyte, The Philippines
