An Art Deco Platinum, Diamond and Sapphire Wristwatch, Cartier, Circa 1925, bezel, lugs and clasp containing 43 antique single cut diamonds weighing approx 0.71 carat total and 12 French cut sapphires weighing approxi 1.32 carats total, white dial signed CARTIER, Roman numerals, blued steel spade and feuille hands, tonneau case, original crown with rose cut diamond measuring approx 2.30 mm in diameter, manual wind lever movement, meshwork bracelet with white gold deployant clasp.
This lovely, delicate brooch has all the earmarks of the Art Deco period with the exception of the handmade lever style closure which was used in the Victorian and Edwardian era. This pin is clearly marked 10 kt on the top of the closure.
