I used Hexels a lot in the conceptual stages, and planned to use it thoroughly before changing my initial idea, similarly to Flash, however I did incorporate it into the background of my Advertisement where a subtle triangular pattern can be seen to add to a the texture's effect. This is one of my favourite software to use in post production, and although subtle it has nice textures.
With the Advertisement, I feel that I didn't go overboard with the use of media unlike with possibly the Digipak or Music Video. I used Photoshop and Hexels with this, and am very happy with it's design; the title was easy to make using the various brush tools, and the layering system allowed for a very easy time laying it all out. As well as this, I was able to make some layers more opaque than others, which made creating a nice image relatively easy to do.
I gained many skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, including adding title graphics which helped adhere more to the indie an acoustic genres.
