1880 Barber Shop Stand Culture: American Medium: walnut wood, marble, brass This 1880s Eastlake style cabinet came right out of a barber shop. Normally there were two of these on separate ends of an area with a long piece of marble connecting them and a giant mirror hanging over them. The flop-down door is where the towels were kept. The marble has been replaced because the original would have been ten feet long. The absolute correct marble has been put in its place.
