"What ever it is, I'm against it." It was 1779 when Ned Ludd broke textile machinery in England, protesting progress. Life today is a relative bed of roses. We eat regularly, bath regularly and we routinely survive childhood diseases. Yet many are still against all progress. NO TO FRACKING, NO TO IMMIGRATION, TO NUCLEAR POWER, NO TO SCHOOL VOUCHERS, NO TO ANYTHING NEW. Without innovation, life would be tough indeed.
