I used to get one of these at Easter (and the Santa at Christmas) from the Clark gas station in town.They would inflate these and have them hanging in the window.Only place in town I remember having them.

American Bandstand premiered on a local Philly station in 1952. Dick Clark had the idea to take it national and on Aug.5, 1957 it became a teenie-bopper sensation. On Feb. 8, 1964, ABC moved the show from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. The final show aired on Sept. 5, 1987 and went into syndication until Oct. 7, 1989.
