All parts of this design have been created so that the audience can see each aspect of the stage. The color pallet used is very calming, which for someone starring at it for a couple of hours would be a blessing. The range of tone stops any piece from disappearing into the background.

Located in Regent’s Park in the City of Westminster, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is only outdoor theatre in Great Britain. Each summer the theatre hosts a sixteen-week season, spanning from May – September.

I thought this had interesting angles, it created a lot of depth in a small space. In addition I think it could have many different looks and maybe be used a cyc.

"The Old Man and the Old Moon" at Writer's Theatre!  Have never seen this play, but what an AMAZING set!

"The Old Man and the Old Moon" set. It might be a little too rustic for a NYC apartment but I get the 'storytelling' style of it. It would work well in our black box theater.

The different levels on stage effectively draw the eye upwards. The ice blue colour creates a hard atmosphere that is aided by the hard lines of the stairs.
