Pulse victims, Puerto Rico's 'children,' return home

Jean Carlos Mendez Perez, 35, was born in Puerto Rico. Claudia Agudelo, his co-worker at the Orlando Perfumania told the Orlando Sentinel, "He was always happy. He laughed with the people and would make jokes." He met his longtime partner, Luis Daniel Wilson-Leon, at the store. They were both killed in the Pulse Nightclub shooting on June 12, 2016. Jean Carlos' friend, Marisa Castano, told People Magazine that he was the, "nicest guy you'd ever meet. Both of them, actually."
