The Sailing ship Helene was built at Ystad Shipyard in 1916 by shipbuilder Johan Henrik Grufstedt. Up until the year 1967 she sailed as cargo ship, mainly in the Baltic-sea and on the Westcoast. These ships were called Baltic Traders. Not until the year 2000 Helene could return to her old homeport Ystad.
