Thread lace using dissolvable stabilizer, & Wonderfil Threads

Thread lace using dissolvable stabilizer, & Wonderfil Threads

Thread vessel created using decorative stitching with my baby lock Ovation serger. I sandwiched heavy threads, yarns and other fibers between two pieces of water soluable fabric. Then with decorative threads in chain stitching and stitched all over the place. Once I was finished I rinsed out the stabilizer and draped it over a bowl to get the shape. Once it dried this was the result. The flat piece was done the same but dried flat rather than draped over a bowl.
