I was first introduced to this wonderful Apple Bread from a co-worker more than 20 years ago! I just recently begged her to bring me the recipe so I could make it. She said she has kept it posted on her refrigerator for all of these years and still makes it all the time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Peanut Butter Bread (adapted from Tate’s Bake Shop) 2 cups all purpose flour (I used half white whole wheat) 1 tablespoon baking powder ½ teaspoon salt ¼ cup salted butter, room temperature ½ cup sugar ¼ cup packed brown sugar 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup milk
found this recipe last week when I had mushy bananas and plain greek yogurt I had to use up...I subbed 1/4 of the flour (so 1/2 cup per loaf) for wheat germ because I had no ww flour and I wanted it healthier...it turned out SO yummy and moist. I've made 4 loaves since and hubby wants more to take to work and share, lol I also added some cinnamon (I can't bake without it!)
