The Love Boat (1977-86) had shallow plots and sub plots, but they also had a huge number of cameo appearances by some very, very famous movie and television stars from the Zsa-Zsa Gabor to Caesar Romero, Ernest Borgnine, Jose Ferrer, Van Johnson, Don Ameche, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Gene Kelly, Shelly Winters and many more. It was a light, "fluffy" family show that was sometimes funny if nothing better was on at the time.

The Love Boat. On Saturday nights I watched this & then right after this I watched Fantasy Island. I thought it was a fun Saturday night as a kid!
