1 CAN APPLE PIE FILLING 1 BOX ANGEL FOOD CAKE MIX (DRY) SUGAR CINNAMON CARAMEL (OPT) DIRECTIONS: MIX THE DRY ANGEL FOOD CAKE MIX WITH THE APPLE PIE FILLING, POUR INTO A GREASED 9X13 CAKE PAN, SPRINKLE WITH CINNAMON AND SUGAR. BAKE AT 350@ FOR 20-30 MINUTES. DO NOT OVER BAKE, CAKE IS DONE WHEN BROWNED ON TOP BUT NOT COMPLETELY SET. ( IF USING A GLASS PAN BAKE AT 325@) REMOVE FROM OVEN AND SERVE WITH A DOLLOP OF COOL WHIP. ALSO GREAT WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM AND CARAMEL.
Mini Pineapple Upside Down Cakes Recipe - Not bad, the butter/brown sugar syrup was a bit much, though. Recipe made 11 regular-sized cupcakes, only enough syrup for 7, but it could probably be stretched out a bit further.
Apple Dump Cake - 2 cans apple pie filling, 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 stick butter, brown sugar. Dump apple pie filling in 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over apples. Layer butter slices over top. Sprinkle brown sugar over butter. Bake @ 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
