RUSSIANS - In the documents of the 8-10th centuries RUSY (the ancient name of Russia's nation) headed all Slavic people who entered The Rus State. According to researches of the 8-20th centuries, Rusy were direct descenders of The Normans who played a major political, military, and cultural role in medieval Europe and even the Near East.
