Grandchild of Christian XI - Princess Ingeborg of Denmark (1878 – 1958) Danish princess & a Swedish princess consort. She was the 2nd daughter & 5th child of King Frederick VIII of Denmark. In 1897, she married Prince Carl of Sweden, Duke of Västergötland. He was the 3rd son of King Oscar II of Sweden & Sophia of Nassau. In 1947, her spouse admitted that their marriage had been completely arranged by their respective fathers & Ingeborg herself added: "I married a complete stranger!"
