The Amesbury Archer's Companion by Wessex Archaeology, via Flickr, this is the Bronze Age skeleton of a man found buried at Stonehenge, Wiltshire. He is thought to have been murdered, archeologists found that he had been shot by numerous arrows. They also think that he went there hoping to find relief from his leg injury which must have caused him great pain for years. He may have been shot for trying to steal some of the healing blue stone which Stonehenge is made from.
