Kelso Abbey 12th Century - Borders Scotland (The tiny village of Kelso was dubbed “the most romantic if not the most beautiful place in Scotland” by novelist and poet Sir Walter Scott)

Raglan Castle, Wales in the county of Monmouthshire. This structure, dating from the 15th century, it lasted until until the 17th century when it was compromised. Owned by the Somersets (Troy and Badminton), it was allowed to decline and is now a romantic attraction. Sir Charles Beaufort Somerset 1460-1516 and Elizabeth Herbert 1476-1510 lived there.
