Sugar basin and cover (cover previously recorded missing), of black basalt with applied figures in low relief by E J Birch, depicting Peace, Liberty, Venus bound by cupids, and the Bourbonnais shepherd from a design by Lady Templetown. The dome-shaped cover and the lower part of the body are reeded.
