Reuben Soup~ Directions ~ Melt butter in a lg pan over med heat, add onion, saute 5-7 min. Add garlic, pepper flakes,saute til fragrant, 1 min. Mix in flour, cook 2-3 min. Stir in broth, add corned beef, sauerkraut, potatoes, Worcestershire, pickling spices, caraway & bay leaves, bring to a boil, reduce to simmer for 10-15 min. Add cream, salt & pepper, remove bay leaves. Divide between 4 oven-safe bowls, top with bread & Swiss, broil until t 1-3 min.
