OK, clearly it's not a cake but I decided, as it IS a bake, it counts. The sweet pull-apart breads I made encouraged me to have a go at savoury breads and here is the first: a white multi-seeded cob. I went with a general recipe and the advice of Paul Hollywood! It was yummy warm with a little Dorset honey. My only issue is that I had lightly salted butter rather than unsalted so I should have reduced the salt added ... but I am very sensitive to the taste of salt so maybe it's just me!
