Stars burst to life in the chaotic Carina Nebula in this image of a huge pillar taken in visible and in infrared light by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. Composed of gas and dust, the nebula resides light-years away in the southern constellation Carina.
Another image of the expansive Carina Nebula, NGC 3372 taken from the Cerro-Tololo Interamerican Observatory's (CTIO) Blanco Telescope and camera. It is amazing how bright and beautiful outer space can be. Galaxies, Nebulas and Black Holes.
