Autumn Art: Use beautiful fall leaves as canvases for doodle designs. Press colorful finds inside a heavy book for about 10 days, then draw on them with metallic paint markers. To add a bit more strength and shine, seal the finished leaves with Mod Podge.
Fall Kids' Craft: Leaf Monogram "Wreath"- Buy a big letter from a craft store, collect leaves with the kids, and help them glue it together. Could do the family initial on the door, or their own first initial for their room(s).
Leaves must be completely dry. Melt beeswax in a double-boiler. Can use old candle stubs. (Optional - add a few drops of cinnamon oil). Hold leaves by the stem and dip in wax. Let excess drip off, then lay them on waxed paper to dry.
