Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande is an instant classic. Beautifully written with stories of men and woman, old and young, faced with difficult decisions. I believe we are only beginning to work our way through this topic.
Memoir Book: "Any Given Day: The Life and Times of Jessie Lee Brown Foveaux". This is a charming memoir of twentieth-century America by a lovely woman who was 98 years old at the time she shared her incredible life story in the mid 1990's. An educational yet heartwarming read, highly recommend.
