Composed entirely of snow and colored ice blocks formed by milk cartons, this backyard project was taken on by a New Zealander visiting Canada, making it an international undertaking. This recycled igloo really shines at night when lit from the inside!
The Crooked House (Sopot, Poland) January 2003 and in December 2003 it was finished. House architecture is based on Jan Marcin Szancer (famous Polish artist and child books illustrator) and Per Dahlberg (Swedish painter living in Sopot)
I made one of these before, and it lasted months in a room of preschoolers. We decorated it for different themes (cave, beach hut, etc. My advice would be to be ready with a lot of hot glue, to make sure jugs are washed out well.
