Latin story about Dido, the queen of Carthage, and how she tricked the Africans into giving her land for her new city. This is the first story that Latin I reads during the year, so it's pretty simple and only contains 1st declension nouns and verbs in the present active. Suitable for high school or middle school. It takes me 1-2 classes to complete translating the story. Some vocabulary is glossed at the bottom.
