Heat up the grill this weekend for these flavorful Marinated Beef Shish Kabobs. They take less than 30 minutes for a complete meal.

There are many chefs out there who consider charcoal smoker grill units to be the “holy grail” of smokers.

This is one of our familys favorite recipes.  It can be used with chicken or pork.  The marinade is a must-the longer the better!  We prefer it with red, orange, or yellow bell peppers, but the original recipe calls for green bell peppers.  The sauce is especially tasty too!  Its similar to a sweet and sour sauce.

This a recipe that I cut out of a magazine, I think TOH, but not sure.  It has ingredients that I have on hand all the time and I love teriyaki flavored meats.  This would be great served with rice or a potato dish and salad.  Time to make doesnt include marinade time.

This is a great marinade for kabobs, do not marinade the chicken for more than 5 hours or the lemon juice will start to *cook* the chicken. This recipe may be doubled to 10-12 breasts but prepare two separate marinades in two separate bowls, do not combine the doubled marinade into one bowl. Feel free to thread on you favorite veggies such as mushrooms, cherry tomatoes or whatever you desire! If you prefer a sweeter glaze then increase the honey by a couple tablespoons.

  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ginger, fresh
  • 12 slices Japanese eggplants
  • 12 Mushrooms
  • 12 Onions, small
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Parsley
  • 12 Pineapple chunks
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 12 slices Yellow squash
  • 12 slices Zucchini
Condiments
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Mustard, dry
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce, light
  • 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
Baking & Spices
  • 1 1/2 tsp Pepper, ground
  • 2 Peppers, yellow
  • 2 tsp Salt
Oils & Vinegars
  • 3/4 cup Olive oil
Drinks
  • 1/4 cup Pineapple juice
